The same model pictured below but much dirtier, and I can't recommend it highly enough. I had seen the same style for cheap (as low as $600) on Craigslist but passed them over because I thought it would be useless since it blocks access to the whole undercarriage. What I found is that even something like dropping a tranny is a million times easier because you lift the car up on the lift and set it down on jack stands or tire blocks etc. It's way faster and safer than the way I used to do it jacking one end of the car at a time. The lift would go high enough that I could sit on a stool and look straight at the rocker panel, or sit on the floor comfortably under the car. The roof of the car was about 7 feet high. Having this really improved my workflow a lot, but my new house has a high ceiling in the garage so I'm looking for a used two post. I saw a rotary asymmetrical on a pallet outside the wall-mart service center I am thinking about making an offer on.
